so exciting!

it's the Wacom(c) Bamboo fun thing...and holy shit is it fun.

Not really much else to say, I'm very pleased with how it's handling and I've already cranked out a piece with it.

HOLY SHIT!!!

This is going to make me sound so sheltered (in comparison to "popular" artists on this site) but my deviations have NEVER EVER gotten 100+ favs and 20+ comments in 2 DAYS! I'm not trying to say that that's the only thing that matters, but it feels good to know that people like your work as much as you do.

So, THANKS GUYS FOR ALL THE FAVS ON MY NEW PIECE. It means so much and I love you all for it.

OKAY guys here's what's up.

RANTING = ON

I'm a pretty chill person, but lately this has been irking me because I've been seeing it more and more and MORE on this website. I am speaking of these STUPID donation pool things.  

Sure, it's ok if you set one up to donate to friends and receive donations from kind strangers on the internet. Fine. Whatever. What is NOT okay is offering to give
comments,favs,llamas,sketches,and other things in exchange for points.

NO...JUST NO!

First of all, it's completely sad and a little rude to beg for points. EARN THEM! That's what everyone else does!

Secondly, don't try to get yourself donated points with favs and llamas and comments and stuff.  It sends the message to deviants that you can  "buy" favs and popularity in the deviant art community. But the only way to achieve that is through hard work and practice. No one is born amazing, people work at it!

HOOOLLLLYYYY SSSSHHHHIIIITTTTT

I never even realized that I haven't updated my journal since 2008...my god what have I been DOING? oh yeah that's right...ever hear of a thing called laziness? It's the skanky sister of procrastination and unfortunately has taken it's toll many times on me (not sexually of course...but...uh yeah i'm going to stop digging myself into a hole here)

Well again I cleaned up a bunch of my deviations...kicking out the old stuff to make room for some new things...I know I should probably keep them on so people can oogle at it and be like "OMGZFTHYLEDSFSH LOOK AT HOW MUCH YOU'VE IMPROVED!! *pinches cheek*" yeah I know, but I wanted to get a new account, but then again I also want to keep my name because it's familiar to not only me but the DA community as well

I love my new photoshop software...Still learning a bit on my mac, however the rewards I've come across are so awesome that it's worth every minute of frustration...more new stuff to come, and hopefully if I ever get around to it, I might get some of my projects up here as well <--(bullshit)...

any way i have some good news and bad news...

of course lets start withe the good news...

1. i have improved my photoshop skills after *cough* 3 FUCKING YEARS!!! *cough*

2. a new style has made itself present in my art *yay* and i like it...so i might roll with it and you'll probably see it a little bit more ^w^

3. i finally figured out the face and eyes >w<

now for the bad news

1. i had the opportunity to get the new photoshop CS3 software...but i was being EXTREMELY cheap and decided it wasn't worth it for my level of art talent so i decided to just keep going with my shitty version...it really isn't so bad...

well at least the good out weighs the bad in this situation
